    Pilates uses correct alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement (the Pilates principles) to establish a perfect working body from the inside out.

    Pilates classes build strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine, rather than bulking and shortening the muscles.

    Our pilates classes incorporate a mixture of Reformer, Wunda Chair and mat work in order to create balance in our pilates practice.

Raine – Mat Pilates

I have been involved in Health and fitness for many years, dating back to when I was very young and lived in the mountains and deep south of New Zealand, where sport was like the life blood of existence.

My interest in Pilates is a lot more recent and I find it goes hand in hand with my Personal Training, Strength and Conditioning and Massage background. I love how any age bracket can benefit so much from the combinations. The knowledge of how our bodies react to the stresses of every day living, fascinates me, and how we can help overcome some of these issues with exercise.

As someone said to me, “Life is to be lived, it is not a practice run“ – I’d love to help you make yours as awesome as can be.

Winda – Mat & Reformer Pilates

After having my kids, I had a fair amount of back pain caused by the pregnancies. I became more aware of my posture and soon discovered how Pilates can increase core strength and flexibility.

After much study and development, I gained a Diploma in Pilates and have been instructing since 2013. I work with clients to develop training programs to incorporate appropriate breathing patterns and techniques to ensure optimal performance of every movement. In this way we can achieve fitness goals to obtain maximum body control, balance, mental wellness and strength.

Jolene – Mat & Reformer Pilates

I have a diverse skill set from working in the health and beauty industry including massage for 15 years. This experience and education has given me an advanced ability in understanding how the body moves, functions and what needs to be done to improve it.

It has allowed me to gain a broad knowledge of the body and mind and how to use this to find balance and happiness in life. I understand the pressures that society puts on all of us and how our body’s react, which drove me to further my positive impact on others through pilates.
I love to help people realise and achieve their goals in a friendly and supportive environment.

Lucy – Mat & Reformer Pilates

Growing up I was a naturally active kid. I was always out and about bike riding, bush walking, climbing mountains, swimming and even horse riding.

In my early 20’s I started to get into boot camps and the gym and when I was 25 I discovered Pilates and absolutely fell in love. It completely changed my body shape for the better and never before had I achieved results like I did with Pilates, so I decided to team my nutrition qualification with a personal training qualification and then a Pilates qualification soon after.

Rhiannon – Mat Pilates

Rhiannon is a highly skilled acupuncturist who studied a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the Endeavour College of Natural Medicine with a scholarship for passion in natural medicine. She has been in the field of Acupuncture for eight years working with Chinese medicine in private practice, fertility clinics, psychiatric clinics, and on cruise ships. This experience has lead her to find instructing Pilates to be an invaluable tool for patient rehabilitation.

Rhiannon has a broad knowledge of the entire body, as well as how the emotions and mental state can affect your health. She is a firm believer that we each create our own realities and, with guidance and persistence, you can have a fit and healthy body, mind and spirit.
